Founded in Pittsburgh in 1976, R.G. Brewton, Inc. was established as an industrial distributor of abrasives serving the western Pennsylvania market. Gradually, the company focused its resources and energy on becoming technical specialists in abrasives and cutting tools and expanded its base of operations to include offices in Baltimore, MD, and St. Mary’s, PA. After solidifying a reputation for excellence in these markets, RGB began looking for new sources of growth and innovation within their industry. These efforts led the company to join Affiliated Distributors (A-D), the preeminent buying collaborative for industrial distribution, and to begin implementing an innovative approach to distribution known as Automated Inventory Management (AIM). Since 1998, RGB has been an industry leader in Integrated Supply and Automated Inventory Management. Presently, the company is headquartered in Lawrence, PA (Pittsburgh).
